KNSSWoSoIn this week’s episode, Keeper Notes’ Jen Cooper  and FMF Rey Gallegos talk about the Houston Dash’ Mexican connection and Algarve Cup talk.

They talk about the introduction of the Houston Dash at halftime during the Houston Dynamo vs New England Revolution team.

They continue to discuss Houston Dash’s Teresa Noyola and Arianna Romero  and their integration into the Mexico National team.  They talk about their college experience and how Mexico bridging the gap between USA & Canada teams.

Jen & FMF Rey discuss the U-17 Women’s World Cup.  Mexico will be participating in the tournament after ousting the US.  They will be facing China, Colombia, & Nigeria.  All of Mexico’s games will be televised.

Jen explains the importance of the Algarve Cup versus the friendlies against Russia due to the intense pressure and competition.

Dash preseason starts on Monday and Jen lists their preseason schedule, in particular the Houston Dash road trip to College Station in April.  In addition, the Dash will make their BBVA Compass Stadium debut against the Houston Aces after the Dynamo / FC Dallas game.  Jen explains the partnership between the two clubs and how it’ll help both teams in the future.
