PODCAST: 05/05/2016 – This month’s podcast is once again an all Houston Dash affair with rookie forward Rachel Daly and Chioma Ubogagu, who played for Arsenal Ladies last year.

Both have connections to England (well, Daly is English) but opted to go in different directions out of college. While Daly could have gone back to play in WSL, she opted to stay in the United States and play in the NWSL. Ubogagu, on the other hand, eschewed the NWSL coming out of Stanford and headed to England to play for Arsenal, the club she has supported all her life.

Daly chats about her instant “fan favorite” appeal after three games, her take charge attitude on the pitch, growing up in Leeds club system, and her decision to go to the United States and play for St. Johns.

Ubogagu chats about her early childhood and background, her club soccer experiences, her favorite player on Arsenal, and her college selection decision. We learn that stories of Ubogagu’s grandfather playing for Tottenham may actually just be urban legend.

As is now our ritual, we wrap things up with both players with five questions to amusing results, as the pair take the opportunity to joke about teammates.
