The NWSL 2017 season is “on pause” while players join their national teams for the June FIFA window. Many friendlies are being played in Europe as teams prep for the women’s Euro tournament that kicks off July 16 in the Netherlands. Here’s a roundup of the matches that involve current NWSL players.

USWNT matches
USA v Sweden, 12:30 pm CT, live on ESPN2
USA v Norway, 12 pm, live on Fox

These matches mark the first time for the USWNT to play on European soil since the 2015 Algarve Cup. Jill Ellis selected just 19 players for this trip, since there won’t be much time for extended training. Eighteen players will be named to the gameday roster for each match. Lynn Williams replaced the injured Alex Morgan.

The team will wear special Pride-inspired jerseys during both matches that will be auctioned off later for charity. Fans can buy their own jersey with this one-time-only numbering style via USsoccer.com.
